Welcome to Bonjour Club!
For 10 years, Gigi ran a very popular after school club showcasing the French language and French speaking cultures in all their glory.
Bonjour Club was truly a beautiful success where students created wonderful memories to last and took the language and culture outside of the classroom.
Each event was always sold out and participants were always asking when the next celebration would be. The sparks in their eyes and smiles on their faces were the most rewarding gift to witness when students get super excited for new French adventures!
Explore French Outside of the Classroom
Students designed jewelry from a French trendy artist, painted impressionist style, crafted some New Year’s scrapbooks and created a snow globe from a Parisian artist.
They baked galette des rois, crême brulée, madeleine, mousse au chocolat, quiche, and baguette to name a few culinary delights.
They also visited Chicago by foot to explore the city's francophone heritage and enjoyed yoga in the target language.
They learned tricks from the only French speaking magician in Chicago and celebrated a festive family brunch in multiple French restaurants around town and many more special events over the past ten years.

gkFRENCH will Continue this Long Time Tradition with Popular and New Events
During the pandemic, Gigi moved all in-person activities to Zoom for two years and despite the technology burden and social distancing; students still showed up to sold out activities. We will offer fun activities in English or French to explore the French speaking world from book club, arts & crafts, more fun cooking to education webinars.
Gigi has partnered with many French artists, vendors and talents to bring you the best of “Paris every day, French all the way”.

Gigi was the French teacher for my son for the past three years. She was the primary reason that my son picked French as his second language since his first grade. My son loved her teaching style, it’s student centered, very engaging, interactive, and fun! Gigi not only taught French with great passion, she actively introduced French culture and set up the “Bonjour Club” for students to further explore and experience French language and culture via various events.
